We’re Open During Renovation!

Federal Realty Investment Trust, owners of Grossmont Center since acquiring the 64-acre property in 2021, has officially broken ground on the first phase of a multi-year revitalization of the iconic La Mesa destination. The renovation is designed to refresh the 925,000-square-foot center while ensuring that all existing businesses remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Work on Phase One began Monday, January 5, with completion expected in October 2026.

The San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce Health Fair Saturday is a widely attended and supported community-driven event.
Vendors within the health, medical, wellness, fitness, family, and lifestyle industries come together to offer attendees information, services, products, demonstrations, and programs.

Booths include information on health, insurance providers, healthcare presentations, health screenings, and live, interactive demonstrations throughout the promenade area of Grossmont Shopping Center.  The event is FREE and open to the public – all ages welcome!
